The Mess of Stress?
We all have hectic schedules, be it academic or professional. Colleges have reopened and as usual mondays the bane of our existence beckons. At time it gets to be way too much to handle, so it’s okay to take a step back once in a while and take a breather.
One of the best ways to begin is to breathe. Yes breathing helps when you get too stressed out, try yoga even if you’re not regular just once or twice a week should get you sorted out. Alternatively you could always make the most out of your weekends. Been avoiding your mom? Make that call, have a lunch date out. Play with your dog.
Even a drink with your best friend could do the trick. See it’s really not rocket science, all you have to do is realize the possibility of a life outside of your demanding schedule. If you’ve been overworked, take some time off, go to bali. Heck you could go to mussoorie and find some peace of mind!
but most importantly make the most of the small moments, the 5 minute smoke break, the half an hour power nap. Stress is really all in the mind and you know what? Like all your fantasies, ultimately you’ll come to realize that stress is just not worth the stress.
Working out is also a great way to relax, to burn up all the pent up anxiety and worries. Some head to the beach and some to the treadmill, to each their own really
