Every pocket in Dwarka has a bunch of plazas that hold a lot of nice places to eat. Whether you want to eat pizzas, dosas, golgappas, sweets, momos, chowmein, shawarma – Dwarka has you covered! Fast food chains such as KFC, Dominos, McDonalds, Subway and all of that is also present. There are food vans present in nooks and corners that are exciting.
I have been living in this area since the past 9 years. I moved to Delhi with my family in 2006. I am working as an Analyst with a business consulting firm based out of Gurgaon. Automobiles, F1, Technology, Electronic Music and the like.
Live in peace but stay in at night.
The roads in the area are really good, complexes with markets and daily needs shops are scattered throughout the area so one does not have to go very far to buy something they need. The area lacks big brand shops and malls but that is okay since other sectors of Dwarka make up for it.
The metro connectivity is really good becausee of the proximity to both the airport express metro as well as the regular metro. The inter sector connectivity in Dwarka isn't great and taking the metro to go from one sector to the other doesn't make much practical sense.
Though electric rickshaws are available to go till the metro station it is difficult to convince them to go to far off sectors. The same is the case with autos and while they might agree to take you around, they will overcharge most of the time. Hence, one of the main things lacking in the area is a good solution for commuting within dwarka.
The area alos lacks good coffee shops and good hangout spots. Most Facilities for day to day life such as regular shops, salons, restaurants(take -away + regular), gyms are available though. Taj VIVANTA is also coming up in the area and should be operational soon.
