Its proximity to office places and given that it is less polluted than many other areas in Delhi, makes it a good place to live in

I'm a student at FORE School of Management and have been living here since last 22 years. I enjoy music, reading and sports. The proximity to places of hangout like SDA market, Green Park market, Vasant Kunj etc. is lovely. It's perfectly located. Green Park market and SDA market have a wide range of options available in Cafes and restaurants. Also, my school and college have been within the range of 5 km., making travel less cumbersome. Certain areas end up attracting anti-social elements of society. At times, security can also be a concern (actually rarely). Green park metro station is hardly 2 kms from my place, so commuting is not much of problem. As far as facilities are concerned, that too isn’t much of problem. South Delhi in a nutshell!

    Hello!
What may seem obvious to you may not be that obvious to others. Do some good. Review this area. Enlighten your fellows of the daily usual treasures it hordes!

In & Around

There are a bunch of great dining destinations here including Kebab Gali, Nagaland’s Kitchen, Tamura (Japanese Cuisine) and Gung The Palace (Korean cuisine). The Bengali Mithai shop, Annapurna, is any Probashi (Nonresident Bengali)’s dream place! If you have been eating random things labeled as Bengali Sweets, then this probably will be a good reality check, and yummy too.

Meet Vallari!

Green Park, New Delhi

I've been living here for an year now. I'm working with Pirumal Foundation as a Program leader. I enjoy reading, painting and doing adventurous things.

From my colleagues and relatives residing near this place, i got to know that Green Park is known for posh localities. Flats are very costly in this area. However we can find enough food outlets if you are a foodie. I just love to visit this place whenever i get a chance to visit Delhi.
