Tuesday delights everyday!

Laxmi Nagar is situated in the East of Delhi [Vikas Marg, to be precise]. Famous for its Mangal Bazar [Tuesday Market], Laxmi Nagar sees a crazy number of natives come down to the streets for a roadside shopping bonanza every mangalvar.

Laxmi Nagar is one of the best place to live for any student who is not from Delhi.... as this place is a hub of coaching institutes for all streams...& it is very pocket friendly.

I'm a student living in Laxmipura for the past 2 years. I love playing cricket. People in this area are very cheap but the best part is you will get something to eat even at midnight and that is the part I like most. Though I dislike the ambience, the commuting facilities are good with Metro and DTC buses.

I’m working as an assistant engineer and have been living here since last 23 years. I enjoy playing cricket, listening music and problem solving. There is an easy availability of all the utilities in nearby regions. I dislike the crowd and standard of living. Various small outlets of fast foods, 'dhabas', Domino’s, etc. are available. Grameen seva, metro feeder, autos, DTC buses, etc. are available to commute. Get everything you demand within 100 m range!

The place to be for every type of coaching. Really happening evenings with lots of student crowd present here.

In & Around

Delhi Street food comes alive in the lanes of Laxmi Nagar. Golgappa, Samosa, Jalebi, Chhole Bhature, Chhole Kulche, Aaloo Chaat, Papri Chaat, Aaloo tikki and so many other tempting delights! Especially if you are out on a Tuesday and are with a child, the inner child in you is definitely going to want to come out! You get roti-sabzi and daily meals in little shacks too!

Meet Manan!

Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi

I am living here from last 15 years. I came here when I was 8 years old. Spent my school and college time here. Made good friends. I am a SDE in Amazon currently. Enjoy playing computer games, card games, watching movies.

It is an ideal place for the students preparing for JEE, GATE, IES, IAS or other competitive exams. Filled with coaching centers, also has V3S mall which is a good option for shopping.

I've lived here all my life. This area is more Market-pur than mandipur, it isn't isolated and it's full of street markets, the grocery stores, food items and clothing options are easily available. Central market and Jwalaheri market is where you can find all the popular eatouts and hangouts, even Starbucks has just opened up. The metro station is at walking distance and so are autos and buses, however the neighborhood is way too crowded.

I migrated here 15 years back for studies and now I work. It's a convenient neighborhood but very crowded, commute is certainly easy, however it is dense and lacks a lot of space. Eatouts and hangouts are all popular and well known.
