A power house of a place (well, literally because there is great availability of electricity here), Rohini is a mix of well spaced well populated urban areas and crowded semi-rural areas. It’s well connected via great roads that lead to everywhere!
Regular eateries like McDonalds, Pizza Hut and KFC have found their place here as well like anywhere else. Though there is not much that Rohini offers in terms of culinary delight, your usual food cravings will be easily taken care of. However, if you get to the periphery of Rohini, you will find Netaji Subhas Place and that has more eating opportunities!
I have been a resident of this area since 1991. I am a student in SRCC and I enjoy reading, browsing internet and keeping myself fit.
The place where kids grow safely!
The best part about the area is its facilities. There are no power cuts and water is available for almost entire day. There are parks for relaxing and playing and the communities are sheltered from theft etc.
The people are good and there is a sense of community. There is no night life as such and there aren't many eatouts and hangouts either. But the commuting options are really good so one can go to nearby places where there are malls and fancy restaurants.
As I said the facilities and commute options are in plenty. There is no problem of electricity and water and the area is relatively safer for women too. There are malls and shops nearby. The commuting is easy as it is connected with metro and buses. Also RTVs (mini buses) and Gramin sewas alongwith rickshaws and e-rickshaws are deployed on the road.
