High End Corner!

Golf Course Road is named after the DLF Golf Course in the adjoining Sector-42. The sectors around Golf Course Road, apart from having a golf course, have a mix of commercial and residential plots! GCR area is however more famous for its commercial aspects. There’s the Genpact Building on the crossing, the Paras Twin Towers (there’s also the Paras Down Time center nearby), the Amex Building, EXL, EY and the list goes on...

I am here from 2 years and am pursuing PGDM From IILM Institute for Learning and Management, Gurgaon. Markets, institutes, schools and parks are very close by but for reaching Metro, it takes around 30 min. which is time consuming. But this matter is going to be resolved in sometime, as the Metro work on Golf Course Road has begun. Huda Market, Suncity, South Point Mall, Hong Kong Market are some of the hangouts in the area. All the facilities, from market to malls and shopping centers is available here. Metro can be accessed by shared autos and private buses.

I'm a Principal Designer at EOS Design and have been visiting and living in this area for 4-5 years. I enjoy travelling, reading and digital art. Galleria and Vyapar Kendra are there for hanging out. The transit facilities are average and are available at the junction or main road. It is strategically located from Metro. It's an affordable place located at the heart of Gurgaon.

I've been living here for the last 2.5 years and the area is still developing, many plots are still uninhabited. Park and school is nearby for kids. Nearest hangout spot is in Vyapar Kendra, not anything in the sector.

I work with a consulting firm based in Gurgaon and my office is in the area. It's a peaceful area, away from crowded places like Cyber City. It offers minimal traffic, broad roads and ease of commuting from Faridabad and Delhi. There are few options like The Brewer Street, Coriander Leaf, Navedyam to hang out with friends after work. For local commuting, autos are available but they overcharge. Buses are unreliable.

I'm a student and have been living here for the past 1 year. I enjoy listening songs. I like the professional environment around. There are malls and fast food corners nearby. The transit facilities are also good.

In & Around

Eating is not an issue at all. There is a wide assortment of restaurants here in the many great malls here, and otherwise. There’s the Bahi Kitchen Lounge Bar here which has a great ambience – perfect for post office chilling. Quick mention to Flip Café and India Grill Room, and Striker Lounge Bar. The first two being near the Audi Showroom and the latter being near the Merc Showroom.

Meet Richa!

Golf Course Road, DLF Phase 1

I am an alumni of IILM, Gurgaon and recently shifted from my lovely college hostel to DlF Phase V. I love swimming, listening to music and love discovering new places to hand around and eat with my chums.

I have been living here since 2004, that is for 11 years. The maintenance of this place is really good. The parks are in great shape, lots of greenery around, great infrastructure, bit old but still good looking, parking is easy and lots of people around so you never feel lonely. Amazing security at the main gate and the respective building gates. Cultural festivals take place on occasions like Lohri, Navratre, Janmashtmi, Dandiya night, Diwali, Christmas and Holi. People here though can be arrogant, egoistic. Lots of internal politics always at play but if steer clear of that, you would enjoy living here. The society is easy to locate hence almost all companies are able to provide cab services in the area. Also there are talks that rapid metro is being extended until dlf 5 which would then connect to Delhi metro.
